Beechcroft Developments Ltd and Angle Land & Developments are developing plans for a new high-quality retirement housing scheme and purpose-built care home facility in Berkhamsted. The proposals will include landscaped public open spaces providing opportunities for recreation and ecological enhancement and will also incorporate sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), parking, and safe access from London Road.
The proposals aim to contribute towards addressing a range of identified housing needs for older people and will assist in addressing the shortfall in housing supply more generally within the Dacorum Borough Council area.

An outline planning application with all matters reserved for later approval (except access to the site in which permission is sought in full) will be submitted to Dacorum Borough Council as the Local Planning Authority towards the end of the year.
